community open-door events

What is VBS 2025 about?  FINGERPRINTS!!!!

The fingerprints of God, are all over creation. That includes you and I, who are created in God’s image. God knows us intimately and has been involved in our formation since before we were conceived. We are marked by God with unique gifts and are
beloved of the Creator.  Everything God creates, God loves and everything God loves, God loves forever.

God sends us Jesus to be the living example of how we treat one another and the natural world around us. In Christ, we witness first-hand the power of grace, love, and forgiveness, and are empowered by the Spirit to ‘leave our mark’ on all those we
encounter.

So what kind of ‘mark’ will we leave?

Join us each evening from Wednesday
July 9 through Friday July 11 from
5:30-7PM for a short meal, some singing, games, meaningful experiences,
new friendships, and lots of fun!

Catch the Spirit

Palm has hosted numerous “Open Door” events in the multipurpose room. These include the annual “Catch the Spirit” Halloween trick-or-treating event. This activity has grown from its beginning to hosting over 400 “ghosts ‘n’ goblins” on Palm’s community Trick-or-Treat night.

Phoenix Center

Since the relocation of Palmyra’s Public Library, Palm has made a commitment to the youth of the community, housing the Phoenix Center during the school year. This valuable after-school program
utilizes the multipurpose room for physical activities and classrooms for tutoring and homework help.
